ANNOUNCEMENTS
We are requiring everyone entering the building to please wear a mask!
First Presbyterian Church Richland is our facebook page. If you can't meet in person for worship, please gather with us each Sunday on Facebook! Or, look on this site under "Services & Sermons" and see all worship recordings and sermon copies!
Sunday school classes for preschool - 5th grade are being held in the Gull Prairie Room during worship service. Parents can drop off before worship and pick up after! On Communion Sunday (the first Sunday of each month), the kids will be in worship service with their folks.
Come for the Chancel Choir! Come for fellowship, to see old friends and meet new ones! Come for God! He's here, with us and in us!!
THURSDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY has resumed, at 11:00, and will also continue on Zoom. Learn a little, laugh a little, (and when we return to in-person, even get a snack!). Anyone is very welcome to come.
WHEN WE RETURN TO MORE NORMAL, DO YOU HAVE AN INTEREST IN BEING THE PERSON WHO READS SCRIPTURES AND PRAYERS ON SUNDAY? IF YOU'D LIKE TO BE A LITURGIST, PLEASE CALL THE CHURCH OFFICE, 629-4944
We're also looking for people who might have an interest in recording the worship service on Sunday mornings. WE WILL TRAIN YOU, and as long as you're at church anyway, what could it hurt to try? Give the office a call if you'd like to help. And thank you. 629-4944
Would you like to join CONNECTED THREADS? If you like to knit or crochet, be at the church Tuesday mornings from 10:15 to noon, in the library. The friends that meet, enjoy making prayer shawls, slippers, sweaters, etc. If you aren't too sure you know how to knit or crochet, let those who DO show you how! Everyone is very welcome!
In your offering envelopes there is a single BLUE envelope that is specially marked for your Per Capita Apportionment. This amount for 2022 is $36.73 per member (feel free to round up!). If we all pay for our share and all those in our family who are members, this will greatly help the thousands of dollars we pay to the Lake Michigan Presbytery. Thanks!
World War II Memories
"The Oral History Project that brought World War II to life for a new generation: moveover, it has built bridges between generations in our church. We hope that publication of the book will be a source of pride for our congregation, and that it will be a lasting contribution to the historical record." Pat Hanavan, editor
This wonderful book of recollections by our congregation and friends has been reprinted. Copies are available from the church office for $10 each. (It makes a great gift!) Please call 269.629.4944 for more information.
